Arden picked up the brush after a very colorful life in the creative arts, in areas such as sculpture, music, dance, theatre, and the circus. Arden travels to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and other celtic countries where "wicked weather" prevails. When at home in his studio in Norfolk, he finds the Northeast equally inspirational, especially the Maine coast and Vermont.

My degree is in Fibers and while I love to sew, weave, felt and collage, in the last six years I have found an increasing fascination with found wood sculpture.
